These terms apply when you use nwcheesehouse.com or order from our online store. By placing an order, you agree to them. "We" means The Cheese House of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
Ordering
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to place an order.
We ship within the United States only.
Your order confirmation email means we received your order. We may cancel or limit an order if an item is unavailable, a price or description was wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we'll refund what you paid for the cancelled items.
Please enter addresses and contact details carefully. We aren't responsible for delays or lost packages caused by incorrect information.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and may change at any time. Changes don't affect orders we've already confirmed.
Shipping and any sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment is due when you order and is handled by our payment processor.
If we find a price error on your order, we'll contact you to ask whether you'd like to continue at the correct price or cancel.
Products
Items are available while supplies last. Many are seasonal or limited.
If an item in your order becomes unavailable, we'll contact you about a substitution or a refund for that item.
Many of our products are natural or handmade, so they may look slightly different from the photos. Weights are approximate.
Food safety
Please refrigerate cheese and other perishables as soon as they arrive.
We aren't responsible for spoilage caused by a package left outside after delivery or sent to an incorrect address.
Our products may contain milk, nuts, soy, wheat or other allergens, and descriptions may not list every ingredient. If you have a food allergy, please call us before ordering.
Please enjoy products by any "best by" or "use by" date on the label.
Shipping, returns and gift certificates
Our Shipping Policy and Returns Policy are part of these terms. In short: all sales are final, we review and make right any item that arrives damaged or spoiled, and gift certificates are redeemable in our shop only.
Using our site
Please don't misuse our site or place fraudulent orders. The text, photos and logos on this site belong to The Cheese House or those who licensed them to us, and may not be copied without our permission.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows:
Our site and products are provided "as is," without implied warranties.
We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We aren't responsible for delays caused by things outside our control, such as severe weather, carrier problems or power outages.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, unless the law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version here. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
